Project Overview

The project consists of mapping the data through the updating of the existing GIS electricity network system, developing a network geodatabase and electricity utility network model that can support in electricity network planning, design, operations and maintenance.

Scope

Mapping 1,300km HV + 13,000km MV + 22,000km LV lines + 7,000 transformers + all substations, power plants, cabins, poles/towers + 2.4 million customer meters

Challenges Addressed

Mapping extensive electricity infrastructure (36,300km of lines) across 30 districts

Standardizing asset data collection and numbering systems for over 7,000 transformers

Indexing and geo-tagging 2.4 million customer meters to network assets

Ensuring data accuracy, completeness and interoperability across all asset types

Our Services

Development of a standard electrical poles and tower numbering system

Development of a standard way for identification of each network asset such as transformers, cabins, power plant, substation

Mapping and indexing up to 2,400,000 Customer meters, tagging them to their respective poles, transformers, feeders, cabin, substation and power plant

Mapping all network Asset (As-Built GIS Network data collection) including: 1300 km As-built High-voltage transmission lines, 13,000 km As-built Medium-voltage lines, 22,000 km As-built Low-voltage, 7,000 Distribution transformers, All cabins, All Substations, All Power plants, All poles and towers for HV, MV and LV lines
